RelyOn Acquires Competency Training to Expand its Electrical Services Offering in Australia

Effective September 9, RelyOn has entered into an agreement to acquire Competency Training (a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX listed Verbrec) in Australia. This strategic move shows RelyOn’s continued commitment to supporting safety-critical industries and strengthens our position as a premier provider of electrical technical training and consultancy across Australia.

Established in 2005, Competency Training provides High Voltage Operator, Electrical Hazardous Areas and Electrical Instrumentation training. Competency Training is an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) servicing clients in the energy, mining, construction, manufacturing, and engineering industries.

Competency Training brings a team of seasoned safety, electrical, and education professionals, enabling RelyOn to offer enhanced services to clients building and maintaining critical infrastructure.
