Electrical Fundamentals – AC - Adaptive
Description
The purpose of this module is to provide an electrical fundamentals review to ensure the participant understands how electricity is made and delivered in order to maintain a reliable electricity supply. Please note, this is a non-accredited course and upon successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion – Electrical Fundamentals – AC
In this course, participants will develop the skills and knowledge as stipulated in the following:
- How power factor is managed
- Use of 3 phase systems
- The significance of phase rotation
- How frequency plays a part in the electric grid
- The key components in the process of generating and transmitting electricity
Target learner group
Operators, staff and contractors in high voltage power systems and industry dealing with AC systems.

60 minutes (on average, via Adaptive Learning)
